Feeding our children vegetables when they are accustomed to grains filling their bellies can be tricky. But parents can be sneaky too. Just like “a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down”. So does a bit of fun and playfulness help the veggies go down.

May 31, St. Louis Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Event

Posted on Updated on

I am excited to be a part of the St. Louis Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Event held on May 31st.

As you all know our family is grain-free and (even more importantly for me) corn-free. I will have a chance to tell me story of recovery and rebuilding health using nutrition and how important it is to take charge of your health and wellness.

Check out a partial list of the topics down below. I understand there will be chefs cooking and many vendor booths from the area sharing what they have to offer.

I hope you are able to join us. I will have a booth as well so be sure to stop in and say hello!

Death to all Spiders

Image Posted on Updated on

Many of you know that my husband was bit by a brown recluse spider in 2013. It was a big deal. No one wants to live through that again.

Since that time, we have a rule in our home “death to all spiders”. We do allow them to live outside our home but the rule applies to the all spiders that trespass inside our house.

I am so grateful for peppermint which keeps them away!
