I have small children and synthetic OTC medication are often not helpful especially when they are under age two or have an upset stomach.                                                                                                                      
When the children have a cold or virus, I have seen them recover with light speed using Peppermint on their feet, RC diffused their room and Raven with olive oil rubbed on their chest and back.          

We even helped a friend’s 18 month old recover from RSV (Human respiratory syncytial virus) in less than a week by using this combination of techniques. Hope this helps parents out there as our hearts break when our little ones hurts.
